No car payment for me!

This past weekend we had a multiple family garage sale and I made $62 total,
plus I had a cash paying client, so $40 from them to add to the challenge.

I am amazed at how much I've saved from this challenge in less than a month!
I've decided that my challenge money will be going toward my replacement car fund. I would like to pay cash for our next vehicle instead of having a car payment. Some say that you'll always have a house payment and a car payment.
I don't want a car payment if I don't have to - I think it's just throwing away money, when you can save up for it and pay cash.

    You know I hear that all the time (you will always have a car and house payment) But like you I am saving to buy me a car cash, I don't care if it is a $5k as long as I pay cash. Keep on saving, you are doig great; by the way nice car
